Terms and Conditions
Mambo Tourism creation and consultancy applies the following Terms and Conditions and cancellation policy on the products and services offered;
FOR TRANSFERS, TOURING & ACTIVITIES
Cancellation more than 30 days before date of travel – no charge
Cancellation within 30 days before date of travel – 20% cancellation fees
Cancellation within 7 days before date of travel – 50% cancellation fees
Cancellation within 24 hours or No Show – 100% cancellation fees
If a passenger falls ill and provides reasonable proof – 100% refund
Refunds are offset against future bookings. If The Agent or client prefers bank transfers, a bank fee of US$60 is to the cost of The Agent or client.
ON ACCOMMODATION
Cancellations are only effective on receipt of written notification. All reservations made shall become subject to the cancellation policy once the client / Agent has confirmed a booking in writing:
Should a cancellation be received once a confirmed status is held, 20% of the contracted rate will be charged.
Should a cancellation be received between 60 and 31 days prior to due arrival date 50%
of the contracted rate will be charged.
Should a cancellation be received between 30 and 0 days prior to due arrival date 100%
of the contracted rate will be charged.
Cancellations and Confirmations must be in writing by all parties concerned.
AIR TRANSPORTATION
The Client may cancel the booking at any time provided that the cancellation is communicated to the Company in writing.
However, in addition to the charges shown below many air tickets have no refund value whatsoever and, therefore, airlines may impose 100% cancellation charges and the cost of a new ticket. Cancellation charges apply as follows:
Period before departure:
Airline tickets 100% of total airline ticket
• 60 days or more – Forfeit of deposit (unless eligible for Lifetime Deposits – see paragraph 4)
• 59 – 31 – 50% of total cost or deposit – whichever is the greater amount
• 30 days or less – 100% of total cost
In addition to the above cancellation charges, we advise clients / Agents to have full insurance cover, which may pay refunds on airline tickets in the event of a cancellation by the Client. If the reason for cancellation is covered by the Client’s travel insurance policy, the Client may be able to reclaim these charges.
Please note
Should your clients fail to arrive on the due arrival date, start their trip after departure or leave before its completion, no refund will be made.
That Non-Mambo Tours activities have different cancellation policies and will depend on the size of the group. Please ensure that you always check this, as they are too numerous to specify in this document.
